Bank of Commerce (BankCom), an affiliate of San Miguel Corporation (SMC), was hailed Credit Management Association of the Philippines (CMAP)’s Most Outstanding Member for 2025 during its 43rd National Credit Congress last April 22, 2025 held at the Lanson Place Mall of Asia, Pasay City.

The recognition was accepted by Mr. Ivan Rey B. Tagpis, Credit Investigation and Appraisal Division Head, and Mr. Eugene F. Mercado, Credit Investigation Department Head as the BankCom’s official representatives in the association.

The Membership Committee of CMAP selected BankCom because of its steadfast commitment, dedication and support to the association and its members. This was the second time that the Bank was selected Most Outstanding Member. The first one was on April 26, 2022 during the 40th National Credit Congress and 90th Founding Anniversary of CMAP.

Formed in 1932 with a mission to promote creditworthiness among borrowers and lenders, CMAP is at the forefront of providing access to reliable credit information and trainings to its various members from the financing, banking, manufacturing and sales industries. BankCom is a proud member of CMAP since July 1995.
