February 6, 2021Starting April 7, 2021, Bank of Commerce (BankCom) will no longer charge BankCom clients for each cash withdrawal or balance inquiry transaction at other institution’s/bank’s ATMs in compliance to Monetary Board Resolution No. 1680 dated 22 December 2020. However, the ATM owner shall be the one that will charge a fee for each withdrawal or balance inquiry transaction and said fee shall be immediately deducted from your account together with the withdrawal amount. While withdrawal fee shall automatically be deducted from your account together with the amount withdrawn, the balance inquiry fee will be shown as a separate debit amount. Withdrawal and balance inquiry fees may vary per ATM owner. Said fees would be displayed on the screen with the option to cancel the transaction if you do not wish to pay the fee or decide to look for another ATM terminal that charges a lower fee. Other ATM features such as bills payment, fund transfer, credit card cash advance, and cash card reload, will not be affected. Thus, we encourage you to perform your balance inquiry and ATM withdrawal transactions via BankCom ATMs as these will continue to be free-of-charge. For non-BankCom clients, usage of BankCom ATMs will have the following charges effective April 7, 2021: ATM Withdrawal: Php 18.00 Balance Inquiry: Php 2.00
