August 31, 2022Bank of Commerce (PSE: BNCOM), an affiliate of San Miguel Corporation and licensed as a universal bank (subject to final regulatory requirements), recently held its first online BankCom Experience Economic Briefing as a newly publicly listed company, where valued clients learned more about the Philippine Economic Outlook and its implications on businesses, and the ways in which the Bank can foster greater collaboration. The Bank tapped former Department of Finance Secretary and former BankCom Board Adviser Margarito B. Teves to lead the comprehensive Economic Briefing covering the pressing concerns, important updates and projections for major economic sectors such as agriculture, export/import, infrastructure, services and banking/finance. He delved on certain global current events. Former DOF Secretary Teves also facilitated the interaction with Bank Senior Officers and more than 300 clients who attended the online event. Among the distinguished panelists of the 2022 Economic Briefing were BankCom President and CEO Michelangelo R. Aguilar, Branch Banking Group Head SVP Joel T.
