August 31, 2022In line with the objective of promoting corporate updates, Bank of Commerce (PSE: BNCOM), an affiliate of San Miguel Corporation and licensed as a universal bank (subject to final regulatory requirements), participated in the 2nd 2022 PSE STAR (Philippine Stock Exchange – Strengthening Access and Reach) Investor Day, an investor relations event organized to give shareholders, equities analysts, and investors access to featured PSE-listed companies held from August 16-18, 2022. BankCom participated on the 2nd day of PSE STAR. Representing BankCom were (in photo, from left) EVP-Chief Finance Officer Antonio S. Laquindanum and AVP-Investor Relations Officer Robby Carlo J. Gaerlan who discussed the Bank’s latest financial performance, strategy and business direction. The 2nd investor day aimed to drive the participating companies’ visibility and strengthen their relationships with market participants as they are given a platform to communicate compelling narratives about their story, financial results, and future plans. PSE STAR leveraged on the PSE’s and co-organizer Bloomberg’s deep relationships with a vast network of stakeholders, participating companies will have the opportunity to reach a global audience, attract institutional investors, and connect with fund managers and analysts. The first PSE STAR was held last May 24-26, 2022. The Fund Managers Association of the Philippines (FMAP) and Trust Officers Association of the Philippines (TOAP) also served as event partners to provide local institutional investor support.
